Football really is the National sport in The Gambia.
If possible go ans watch a match. Many matches are played on sand pitches and evrybody comes to watch and cheer for their team. When the home team wins this of course is greatly celebrated.
If you have any old footballshoes, balls or other footballmaterial, everything is more then welcome here and will be put to good use.
Also visiting the national stadium is not a problem
